Summary

Funded by Women's Xchange 15k Challenge and in collaboration with Rainbow Health Ontario and an Advisory Group of trans community members and their allies, we developed and evaluated an in-person training module focused on the care of trans persons who have been sexually assaulted. This module was successfully piloted and evaluated at SANE training in November 2018 with 47 nurses. The in-person curriculum was updated in December 2020 and launched to the public in March 2021. It is available free of cost on the trans-LINK WebPortal for those wishing to facilitate learning in a group setting.
