On Thursday October 12, 2017, Dr. Janice Du Mont presented "Research to Advance SANE-Led Services: Innovations in Knowledge and Practice". This keynote address described the innovations to SANE-led services resulting from a decades long partnership with the Ontario Network of Sexual Assault/ Domestic Violence Treatment Centres. Founded on an integrated KT approach, this iterative program of research has advanced knowledge, policy, and practice to optimize the care provided to diverse survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and elder abuse.

Dr. Janice Du Mont is a Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of Women’s College Hospital and Professor in Public Health at the University of Toronto, where she is also Director of the Collaborative Specialization in Women’s Health. She is a member of the Government of Ontario’s Roundtable on Violence Against Women and the University of Toronto’s Sexual Violence Climate Survey Advisory Board, and has also served as a consultant to the World Health Organization.
